2021 President Paul Christiansen

Learn about your 2021 President Paul Christiansen

My wife Deb and I were married in August of 1972. We have two boys Erik and Kyle. I have worked
water/wastewater fields for over 50 years. This has moved us from Illinois, to Iowa, to New Mexico, to Missouri, to Kansas, and to Georgia. Officially retired, KCCA keeps me busy.
Deb worked different jobs, but mostly in medical offices and billing before her retirement in 2014.

When and how did you get involved with Corvettes?
Deb talked me out of a 63 split window corvette when we got married in 1972. I leased a 2000 corvette convertible in 2002. We traded in the 2000 for a 2004 Commemorative Coupe in 2004. We traded in our 2004 for a 2008 coupe at the 1st. Max Motor Exotic Car Show in 2007. We sold the 2008 in 2017 before we moved back to Missouri. In January of 2019 we bought a 2011 convertible.

How long have you been a member of the club?
We joined the club in 2002 and were members until 2014 when we moved to Georgia. We joined again in 2018 after we moved back to Missouri.

What made you decide to get involved being an officer?
We have worked at all the club car shows during our first years/time with the club, but never served as an officer. I thought it was time to be more involved with the club and become an officer.

What message would you have to invite people to come join in the fun?
We joined the club because one of my coworkers in-laws were members, Augers, he talked about all the friends they had met and all of the different events/trips they went on. Get out and get involved. If you have other ideas for things to do bring them up and help make them a reality.

Thank you Paul for sharing!
